Question by Anthony: What are fun/exciting things to do in Algarve, Portugal?
In August I will be traveling to Algarve, Portugal. I will be there for 10 days and will be in Vilamourna, Algarve. I was wondering what type of things there were to do or what kind of activities I should try and do as a tourist. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Villamoura is a man made resort but there is plenty to do:
-The beach
-The marina to browse the yachts and have a drink, meal at the restaurants
-Golf: old course, pinhal, laguna, millenium,
-Casino
-Zoomarine is brilliant for kids
-Slide and splash water park

Yes, all that. The beach, the bars and all that. Still, I’d just like to recommend not to go to the casino at Vilamoura for it’s specifically made to get money from tourists in a way that you’ve never seen before. Sheer exploitation. No real chances at all. I don’t go to casinos at all anymore, but you may trust me on this.
