No, citizen of Panama are exempt from the visa requirement to countries of the Schengen agreement to include Portugal for tourist or business travel of up to 90 days per semester. You will need to pass the Schengen immigration inspection at Madrid/Spain since there are no directs flights from your country to Portugal. Your connecting flight from Spain to Portugal will be a Schengen internal flight without governmental immigration controls on departure and arrival.
